Alicia Boler Davis received the 2018 Black Engineer of the Year award by the US Black Engineer (USBE) magazine, making her the sixth woman to receive the award.

Alicia Boler Davis has worked in various engineering and manufacturing leadership roles at General Motors (GM), currently serving as the Executive Vice President of Global Manufacturing. As the first African-American female plant manager, Alicia made history in 2007.

With a chemical engineering bachelor’s degree and an engineering science master’s, Alicia has always pushed to try new things and empower others. Alicia currently serves as the Executive Liaison for the GM WOMEN leadership board.
