#MathMonday honoring Annie Easley (1933-2011)

Annie Easley worked as a computer for NACA until it was abolished in 1958, becoming NASA, where Easley would develop the software for the Centaur Rocket along with many alternative power technology projects. While working full-time, Annie returned to school to complete her Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics.

Annie worked to encourage female and minority students at college career days to consider careers in STEM and later worked as a equal employment opportunity counselor to investigate complaints of discrimination.
