Dr. Ayana Elizabeth Johnson is a marine biologist, policy expert, strategist, and Brooklyn native. Ayana founded Ocean Collectiv, a consulting firm for conservation solutions grounded in social justice. Ayana is a strong advocate for coastal communities. Ayana is also an adjunct professor at NYU.
