𝟏. 𝐀𝐬𝐤 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩
Seriously. It’s HARD to admit that you need help but you’re doing yourself a disservice if you don’t reach other. Trying to do everything yourself because you’re worried about looking weak or unprepared or inadequate is either stubbornness or imposter syndrome. Asking for help will get you so much further!
𝟑. 𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐬
Make sure that you’re taking notes and organizing in a way that works for you! It doesn’t have to be pretty, it just has to be useful!
𝟓. 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐲 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩𝐬
Listen, study groups are there for both emotional and academic group! Your classmates (and coworkers) are in your shoes and understand better than anyone the tasks you’re struggling with. They are the most valuable resource!
𝟔. 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐤 𝐭𝐨 𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐦𝐞𝐧
No matter where you’re at in your career, reaching out to people with more experience who want to help you is always going to be beneficial!
