Debbie Sterling is the founder and CEO of GoldieBlox, which she created to challenge the gender gap between children in STEM and the pink aisle of toy stores by introducing girls to engineering. After graduating from Stanford University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and Product Design, Debbie decided to create something that would empower girls and has continued to work towards supporting creating a more welcoming and inclusive environment within STEM fields.
